Venue: The Miners Standard, Winster.
Time: 7.15 for 7.30pm. Duration: 1.5hrs (approx).
The concluding part of the Masson Caving Group's activities over the past 30 years away from Derbyshire. We start in South Yorkshire! before heading to Yorkshire Dales, followed by Mendips, South Wales, CountyClare in Southern Ireland, Majorca and finally, a few miscellaneous slides.
Following a 'beer break', a miscellaneous selection of slides will be shown, featuring cave & mine exploration, et al both in Derbyshire and further a field.
Don't forget that 'The Miners Standard' serves a full range of food and you could always stay over, either camping or B&B at the pub.

Saturday 09 January 2010 NEW OXLOW, Castleton, Derbyshire SRT Grade 3
Co-ordinator: Roy Rodgers Meet 10am usual place for Oxlow trips (verge approximately quarter mile west of WinnatsHeadPass). Fee (now £2) payable to farmer. SRT trip, followed by dry crawling in New Oxlow passages, hopefully as far as ‘the sewer’. Although numbers not limited, would be helpful if you could let Roy know in advance if you intend going on this trip.
YORKSHIRE TRIP:
Saturday 23 January 2010 WEST KINGSDALE Likely SRT Grade 3/4 (details to be arranged on the weekend)
Please note, Pete (co-ordinator) will only be caving on the Saturday, so if others want to cave Sunday, they will have to make their own arrangements.
